WHAT IS ECP ?

A Convergence Between Astronomy And Culture

The Eclipse Convergence Platform (ECP) is structured around two major pillars. The first and primary pillar is the astronomical observation of the Total Solar Eclipse crossing Luxor on August 2, 2027. The second pillar is an international cultural event including lectures, conferences, workshops, visual arts, Egyptology and global cultural exchange.

The Astronomical Experience

The primary focus of the Eclipse Convergence Platform is the observation of the Total Solar Eclipse crossing Luxor, Egypt, on August 2, 2027. With a maximum totality of approximately 6 minutes and 22 seconds, this event is expected to become one of the most significant astronomical gatherings of the decade.
